Windows Function Keys
You might have been using Windows for a long time but I am sure some users still don’t know all the features and uses of F1-F12 keys on your keyboard. We all know common shortcuts like CTRL+C to Copy and CTRL+V to Paste, but you might not know what F1, F2,F3 … F12 keys actually do and where and when to use them and also how these keys can be used with the combination of CTRL and ALT keys.

VLC Multimedia Player for Windows 10
Microsoft's removal of Windows Media Center from Windows 10 - only to release instead a $14.99 DVD player app - has been met with disapproval in some quarters.Even though the app will be free to most people upgrading from Windows 7 and 8, it apparently is very limited and if you reinstall, you may find yourself having to pay.Rather than worrying about any of this, you could just download VLC.
VLC is a very capable media player, happy to play DVDs and other video but also able to handle a range of different audio files.Easy to use and with a good range of controls and keyboard shortcuts, VLC can also be augmented by downloading software plugins. VLC is a free cross-platform multimedia player that plays most multimedia files as well as DVDs, Audio CDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols. VLC runs on all versions of Windows, from Windows XP SP3 to the last version of Windows 10.
